Russia responded to NATO and Ukrainian escalation of the war (namely allowing Ukraine to use longer-range weapons to strike deep within Russia, of which Ukraine took full advantage) by launching what was at first reported to be an ICBM but later identified by Russia itself as an Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile (IRBM) capable of flying at Mach-10 (7600 mph, 12000 km/h).

Capable of carrying nuclear warheads, this particular Oreshnik (“Nut tree”, “Nut”, “Filbert”, or “Hazel”) rocket carried what videos seem to show as six (6) conventional payloads, each with perhaps four independent rockets. In all, this single rocket may have struck as many as 24 separate targets in Dnepropetrovsk where it is said to have destroyed the Yuzhmash defense plant at 5:17 local time.

Correction Nov 23: The Oreshnik carries 6 payloads, each with three (3) independently navigable warheads for a total of 18 strike targets. In this particular case, the “warheads” were merely inert (non-explosive) pieces of metal. The fiery impacts in the videos show the release of kinetic energy resulting from dropping “stuff” at 3.4 km/second.

It is eminently clear that Russia is telling us, “We have the ability to strike any point on Earth (though we avoided going nuclear for now), so be very, very careful if you think that you can keep pushing us!”

Russia has been extremely patient in all of its responses, but everyone has their limits, and we’re fast approaching the end of Russia’s patience.

Why do we insist on continuing to kick The Bear in the balls and keep fucking with the strongest nuclear power on the planet?

Do we really want the world to end?

Are our leaders beyond reason? Have they gone utterly fucking insane?

Why do we stand idly by while our leaders force us all to participate in this mad rush for annihilation?

Just stuff your fucking pride, US/NATO, and STOP THIS SHIT already!!!!!
